1. Brill bike perfect handling very fast
for a 50cc running cost amazing 5 pound last 2 weeks and
i ride mine every day and do bowt 30 mile a day so very
good for running very reliable never broke down top bike
to buy its 10 x better than a rs 50 its the new yammaha
r1
2. This was a brilliant little bike ,
the moment i saw my mates gpr i fell in love and knew i
had to have one
eventualy my mates dad (dealer and mechanic) had one for
sale , so i saved up my money and bought it , it was amazing
to ride incredibly quick for what it is a true pleasure
to ride mine was still restricted apart from it had a arrow
race exhuast system on it and did bout 74mph
its well worth its money , they are quite tricky to maintain
though , and there electrics arent there strong point ,
my indicators break light horn and starter motor all stopped
working the day after i bought it but tht isnt a problem
as u can bump start it within about 1 foots distance fuel
consumtion is also a slight problem as mine only did about
40 miles to the gallon but overall a brilliant machine

The soul of the new GPR 125 is the single
cylinder liquid-cooled four-stroke engine with four intake
and exhaust valves and developing 15 actual hp. This engine
is one of the highest performing in its class. At the front,
a spectacular upside down 40mm diameter fork, a real first
for this segment. On the back, an asymmetric, variable-section
swing arm , a genuine work of engineering with the unmistakable
stamp of uniqueness. The rear central shock absorber is
directly connected, with no linkage, making for firmer and
sportier handling. If you're looking for a sophisticated,
sexy and stylish 125cc bike then look no further. The Derbi
GRP 125 has everything you could possibly need.
Owner Reviews (reviewcentre.co.uk):
1. I got one of the new
Derbi GPR 125's this august as my first ever bike, with
the intention of using it for a bit of fun on the weekends
and having my car for the week... however the car is now
virtually used! For £3000 brand new it's great value
for money and the amount of fun you can have on it is unbelievable.
The ride is very comfortable with the bars slightly higher
up than others so not too much pressure on the wrists and
the pegs positioned nicely. i'm 6ft 4 and have no issues
with an achey back of anything at all. It really looks like
a bigger bike and apart from the L plates theres no give
away that it's only a 125 at all. Theres been no problems
with reliablity so far and there were no problems at all
at the first service however only owning the bike for 2
months i shall wait and see how it goes.It handles very
well keeping up with bigger bikes through the corners. it's
very stable round the bends and you get alot of feel through
the bars. I'm getting around 150 miles out of a tank at
the moment with is being used for both commuting to college
and for weekend blasts on country roads.
2. The Derbi GPR 125 is
beautiful, fast, elegant, BIG, reliable, great acc, 0-60
in 3 secs if not less. It feels as if just doesn't stop
gaining speed. Everybody looks at it and whats one. Acc
is amazing, exhaust under the seat is awsome, top speed
is great, power is great. Best gear shift i've ever felt.
It is a bit heavy to turn at stops. Seizes when pulling
away in low revs.
