The Aprilia 50cc / 125cc Mojito Custom Scooter

The high-tech and environmentally friendly Mojito Scooter is the ideal solution to all your urban mobility needs. It's beautifully finished and easy and fun to ride.
Inspired by the timeless American automobiles of the 1950s, the Custom also borrows features from classic American motorcycles, like wide, custom style, die-cast aluminium handlebars, large chrome headlight, shiny aluminium controls, two chrome mirrors fitted as standard, a large, comfortable seat (solo on the 50cc version), custom front wheel, disc type rear wheel and a host of chrome accessories and body parts.

The Chassis: A classical open cradle frame in high strength steel tube that delivers excellent rigidity. With 32 mm stanchions and a wheel travel of 85 mm, the hydraulic fork effectively smoothes out even the roughest road surfaces.
As with all scooters of the type, the engine-transmission assembly acts as swingarm and is damped by an adjustable shock absorber with a particularly generous wheel travel of 84mm.
To keep the Sportcity One as compact as possible, 14 inch wheels have been combined with generous tubeless tyres (120/70 at the front and rear). Combined with the excellent frame, this suspension and wheel system gives the Sportcity One excellent stability and a truly intuitive ride that anybody can enjoy. A powerful 220 mm front disc with a two-piston floating caliper, plus a dependable 140 mm rear drum mean instant stopping.

 

The Aprilia Sport City Cube 125cc / 300cc Scooter

With the introduction of the 300 cc engine, the Sportcity Cube also performs well as a medium range commuter, providing a more global mobility solution. The Engines: This new four-valve engine with electronic fuel injection represents the state of the art for scooter engines. Powerful, flexible, clean running and with miserly fuel consumption, the new single cylinder power plant is the perfect match for the Sportcity. Developing 22.5 HP at 8,000 rpm and 22 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, this single cylinder power plant offers pace-setting performance. The engine makes full use of the Sportcity’s dynamic handling, and makes it a perfect choice not only around town but on fast out-of-town roads too.
A maximum power of 15 HP allows the 4-valve Sportcity 125 to carry riders effortlessly through city traffic and cruise at speeds more than adequate for commuting needs.
Miserly fuel consumption and a generous 9 litre tank give the Sportcity great autonomy.

The Chassis: The frame is made from high strength steel tube, and is designed to give excellent torsional rigidity and strength despite the flat platform. The hydraulic telescopic fork features 35 mm stanchions and offers a wheel travel of 100 mm for precision control and excellent damping. The Sportcity fork provides the perfect remedy for cobblestones, broken road surfaces and manhole covers.
The engine and transmission assembly acts as swingarm and is damped by two shock absorbers with adjustable spring preload. Because the suspension can be adjusted to suit load and road conditions, maximum safety is ensured in every riding situation. An impressive wheel travel of 80 mm means an excellent level of comfort. The Sportcity Cube is equipped with 15 inch wheels and generous, high profile tubeless tyres (120/70 at the front and 130/80 at the rear).
Another one of the Sportcity Cube’s many strong points is its braking system. This is especially true of the top of the range 300 which adopts a triple disc system (instead of the double disc systems fitted to the 125) for amazingly short stopping distances and safer than ever riding. The two front discs are 260 mm in diameter and are braked by floating calipers with twin parallel pistons. The rear wheel is braked by a 220 mm disc with a single piston caliper.
